The Boyd Firm will sponsor The Ride to Support Sacrifice, Sunday to Nashville. We will combat the protest by Westboro Church of the funeral for USMC Sgt. Balduf, Bronze Star recipient, killed in action. We will return Monday afternoon. The Boyd Firm is supplying hotel rooms Sunday night for all registered riders of this event. Registration Sunday 4pm Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson, KSU @ 5pm.

Remember, I am always accepting old cellphones to submit to a company that sells the precious metals in phones, then buys pre paid phone cards and sends them to the troops overseas. You can bring them to the station or to any live remote broadcast. Also, if you ride, I am usually at Quaker Steak and Lube every Thursday night for bike night and will accept them there. Thanks!

With all these new ways of communicating, I think it's we take a couple of steps back and make a call. As this age of texting and all things electronic bombard our lives, the simple act of talking is dropping off. I think we should start making an effort to call people and talk to them, let them "HEAR" out LOL's and LMAO's, and not just see the letters. Why not go see someone and us your physical communication skill as well.
