Foreigner Choir Contest
Foreigner wants your local high school choir, not to number more than 25 kids, to sing with the band on their classic hit, I Want to Know What Love Is, onstage with the band the night of the show, September 20th. Foreigner will also donate $500 to the winning choir for appearing with us to use as they see fit for their program.
After all the votes were tallied, South Doyle High School came out victorious. They will be performing live on stage with Foreigner this Friday Night.
Before and after the show, South Doyle High School's choir, along with five adult chaperones, will sell a Foreigner CD to concertgoers. A portion of the proceeds from the choir’s CD sales are donated by Foreigner to the Grammy Foundation, whose charity initiative includes fundraising for high schools whose music programs have been adversely affected by budget cuts, which, these days, is pretty much nationwide, unfortunately.
It's South Doyle High School's chance to perform with Foreigner live on stage on Saturday, September 20th from Foreigner and WIMZ, Knoxville's Classic Rock.
