Government funded children have their breakfast and lunch supplied for them at school, but WIMZ and 2nd Harvest Foodbank are working together to send children home for the weekend with a backpack full of food. The month of July, you can visit participating locations and donate either a $10 donation or a new backpack.

 ETMA ARMED FORCES GOLF CHALLENGE
WIMZ encourages you to take a swing to give abused children NEW HOPE in the ETMA Armed Forces Golf Challenge! The tournament will be held on Monday July 14, 2008, at Pine Lakes Golf Course in Rockford, TN. The event will benefit the Blount County Children’s Advocacy Center a child-friendly, safe place for child victims of sexual and physical abuse.
