An uncharacteristic three errors by UT on Friday night at the Lee Softball Stadium helped tell part of the story as the #9 Tennessee Lady Vol softball team (25-8, 7-5 Southeastern Conference) also watched Kentucky's offense bang out nine hits in emerging victorious from its series opener over the Lady Vols, 5-3.

Tennessee shook off a slow start to complete a midweek sweep of Mississippi Valley State, doubling up the Delta Devils, 8-4, on Wednesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. Junior Drew Steckenrider went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and fired 1.2 innings of shutout relief in the win.

The Morristown Rotary Club is hosting a Fundraising Dinner for the construction of a new Morristown Rotary 18 Hole Disc Golf Course to be constructed at Frank Lorino Park located in the heart of Morristown.
